There *will* be a lot of reboots this week. Please help people that
are 'informationally challenged' (ie, dont read announce) with knowing how
to qreset etc where you can. Anyway, on to the changes. Also putting a pretty
interesting discovery on mudinfo after this.
- A mob can no longer die to a poison or disease affect while it is
engaged in combat, which solves the problem of disease/poison taking
your kills. The damage from the affects can still get the mob down to
1hp. Lots of people reported this, but Rau came up with this nice
solution.
- Safe rooms in clan halls now do display the mapper. Clans can choose
the outline color for their area on the mapper from the standard
colors in 'colorset status'. This is free for now. Remind me sometime
later when things settle to let you add your own sector tiles so you
can make your clan hall map look pretty. If a clan particularly
doesn't want their open hall to be mappable that's fine too, we can
flag them for you, but in that case I'm going to say they can't link
in Aylor.
- 'Gray' is now useable as a colorset option. If you don't have
the toggle on to see it, it will display as normal white. 'Colorset
colors' mentions this so new players will know about it. (Sselnoisiv)
- Balor is no longer a free 'aim'. (Haart)
- Clanadmin goto no longer works in combat. (Demonspawn)
- New players no longer start with shortflags on. (Jaenelle)
- Changed the recall messages a little when in a norecall room and/or
cursed.
- Improvement check missing from angel breath. Note it can only improve
on success, not by repeatedly spamming it. (Blug)
- Increase duration on Wither. Lowered duration on Weaken. Wither will
also reduce more STR at higher caster int. Weaken still lasts longer/
does more because that is all it has - wither also does damage.
(Alhena). Also fixed a buggy wither msg. (Sleipner)
- 'Preserve' skill was not improving, works now. (Fatesdagger)
- You now lose invisible as soon as you enter combat and will see a
message when you and/or target becomes visible. (Tymme)
- The bug with people disappearing from rank 15 is now fixed. It was
caused whenever a function that changes an offline pfile was run.
Thanks to Almila for finding this. There might be others, we'll
see.
- Added fail messages to target when moonbeam/sunray fail because of
alignment. (Cadaver)
